LA-MA-YO.

JUSTICE!!! ZOMG JUSTICE!!!! JUSTICE HAS BEEN DEALT!

TAKE THAT ADAM LAMBERT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

EL OH EL

LA MA YO

ZOMGBBQLOLLERZ.

This season was boringness. Glad it's over. I don't know why I continue watching this show, really. >.>

But still... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. XD XD XD XD

Auntie and Mother Person aren't too happy. Personally I didn't care for any of the two but it was so gorram obvious the wannabe Steve Tyler was going to win, what with all the judges gushing over him every week. That new judge even had the audacity to call him a "rock god" which made her the new Paula, congratulations! You're fired!

THE END.

Randomblings.

Watching Heroes is some rollercoaster ride. I go "Ugh" with some episodes and then "Ohh" with others. I just hope this season is the last. Really. What else could possibly come out of this other than what has transpired in the first season?

*

I am trying my best to resist the shiny that is Small Favor. My sister has waited long enough for me to finish reading the Narnia books so... must... finish... that... first. Three more to go. xD;;

Then thanks to [info]vampydirector (danke muches :D) I have acquired the Tweelight books. Um... no comment right now. >.>

*

And as much as I hate working at Shittybank, I shall do over time up the whazzoo for monies is a necessity. Rawr! Fear mah gold diggin'! Okay, not. Ugh, hate this job. It is so boring I can cry. Okay, not quite, but the repetition kills me. The silliness of some of my co-workers make me lose more brain cells because I want to bang my head on various hard objects whenever I am asked the same simple questions over and over and OVER! Seriously, WRITE GORRAM NOTES!!!!!!!!!!! Then there are instances where I wonder how in the world this bank stays afloat with certain dumb ideas and business practices. I dunnae... beyond me. Psh.

/endrant.

Other than that, I am thankful to even have a job anyway. And it pays a decent salary as I am going to get now-a-days so, yeah, as much as I hate it, it is there and it is providing me fundage to, you know, do stuff I do like.

I are optimistic. See? :D :D :D

Books shall replace T.V.

I hearts the Dresden Files and have read eight books in a month or so, which is, like, nigh impossible for Angie to do in any other given space of time.

These books are so addictive. They're like the Harry Potter books except written in first person, with an older Harry (lolol), and more shiny books in the series. Though, I am catching up so that means I will have to do the waiting thing soon. Blah.

But, break time. Tackling Inkheart so I can take the sibs to see the movie when it comes out on the 23rd. It is a bit slow, but not in a particularly bad way. I am just used to the shit hitting the fan from the first chapter on in the last few books I have read, haha.

Ugh, I don't know what to do without SGA on Fridays now. Blah.

Yay books. Wee.

The End.

Oh, and anyone who makes listening to pop songs tolerable is awesome, haha.

The End. For reals.

NaNophailed.

So, yeah, uh, I did not write 50K. Did not write 10K either. Big fail on that in regards to my NaNo attempt this year. But, I do not think that I did not gain anything from this.

1. I kinda sorta have a bigger idea on how this particular story will flow.

2. I realized how awful I am at setting the mood of my writing.

3. The fact that I will never, ever see any of my writing published in novel form is solidified and written in stone. (Not that I am too bummed about this one, I know I am not a novelist or anything. I like the more visual way of telling a story, if ya know what I mean. ;3)

4. The Shinies are a terrible force to be reckoned with... *cough*Avatarmarathonofawesomedoom*cough*

5. Work sucks. Oh wait, that does not have anything to do with this... carrying on...

But anywho. The Avatar marathon was awesomeness. I think I saw all the episodes now and it was cool stuffs. And watching it did inspire me with my own story.

Conclusion: Back to the drawing board. I need some more research.

THE END.

Of the year has come... AHHHHH!!! /panics.

Yaylalala.

I'm supposed to be asleep...

Sleepy Puppy <-- me? o.o

This guy reminds me of that spazzy squirrel on 'Foamy the Squirrel' XD

Oh, and I watched the new Heroes episode that I wasn't supposed to watch yet because two shiny shows in one day, especially a week-work-day, is not that good. But I did anyway. And all I got to say is...

W.T.F.

There.

This is wtf, too. Even politics is not immune to this song.

And...

You Obama supporters might like this. XD

Man, clicking on random related videos is a good way to LOL. (Hey, they bash both sides! Finally!)

Okay, going to sleep now... /passes out.

Numu.

So, I am no longer a client of Washington Mutual. Bai-bai, WaMu. You and your Woo-hoo!-ness will be missed. I am not sure what to make of Chase. Time will tell I suppose.

*

I did something all exercise-y yesterday! My sibs and I went to this 5K walk for AIDS benefit at this park. 'course, with my sibs, it won't be a walk so we jogged, too. And then we got finished with the course way before the other peeps so we... uh, went around again.

Now my legs are sore like whoas, but it was fun stuffs. I want to start running now, haha.

And Citi raised $28K. Rawr we rock or something.

*

I ordered books from Amazon and they came in yesterday: Burton on Burton, The Cambridge Companion to Atheism, and Traffic: Why We Drive the Way We Do (and What It Says About Us). :D

I'm not sure if I can keep to my schedule reading the other books in my book pile, haha. Darn shiny books. There's also The Illusion of Life, but I've cheated and read some... >.> Should just read it all. *hides book pile under a rug* xD

*

Oh, and Stargate Atlantis! Daniel Jackson appeared! :D

I have to wait two weeks for the next episode, blah. Then I probably have to wait more because next episode is the mid-season finale thing so... more blah.

Maybe Sanctuary, Heroes, and Knight Rider can help with the wait. I would say Eureka, but I think last episode was the mid-season break. And it ended with a "wtf?" moment, too. Only, it wasn't as "wtf?" as Season 4's ending on Stargate Atlantis, because I kinda saw it coming... ish.

*

Peace.

Heroes + Knight Rider

Randomness ahead! Can you handle it? :O

Yay for G4 airing new episodes of Heroes. :D

Watched the first two, I guess? T'was two hours worth of Heroes...

*

Spoilers of doom, m'yes )

I am not sure what to make of this new season, but it could be interesting. Dunnae.

*

And Knight Rider today. It looks teen-drama-fied, but there's KITT. With old skool!Batman's voice! :D

Tralala, I'm watching more T.V., is that bad? )

Yes, I like KITT. Tis the main reason why I watched the show in the first place, haha. Nope, it wasn't the Hasslehoff dude. It was the schmexy car. fufufufu. ♥

THE END.

Season 5... GO! GO! GO!

lmao... I just made a funny, hahaha.

Spoils of the first episode... yus, thar be spoilers. XD )

All in all. This episode was good. It kinda felt rushed, but that's just me. I guess I can rely on some awesome peeps over at FFN to fill in the gaps. ;3

*

On another note that's related. I have Season 4! EEEE. Not to mention a great reference picture of Sheppy so Kamel can draw him for me! /excitement!!

Yay for more Stargate Atlantis! <3 <3 <3!

American Idol.

They did something different. They finally, FINALLY, let the singers play instruments. So, we've got musicians and singers. I don't know if it offers an advantage or anything, but it definitely makes some of the performances enhance.

Now I ramble about the Top 12... )

*

So far, this season's pretty good. I like how they allowed instruments and that there's diversity. Cool stuffs.

SGA is love, but...

e-vil [ee-vuhl]
-adjective
1. morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked: evil writing habits; an evil episode.
2. harmful; injurious: evil cliffhangers.
3. characterized or accompanied by misfortune or suffering; unfortunate; disastrous: to be fallen on evil days because episodes that end with evil cliffhangers love to poke at people who are susceptible to wibbling.
4. due to actual or imputed bad conduct or character: an evil reputation for taunting people who are susceptible to wibbling is what the writers for 'Stargate Atlantis' have.
5. marked by anger, irritability, irascibility, etc.: Angie is known for her evil disposition when forced to wait four bloody months to find out what happens next Dx.

*

I probably butchered sentences, but... that's what I'm feeling now. Season 4 of Stargate Atlantis is over and the closing episode was... was... 3vil. Why? Why must it end like that? I will now wake up everyday and go, "WTF WAS THAT?!".

Someone... poke me with something... I can't keep thinking about this. It's... it's... muuuuuu. ;-;

/wibbles.

Memes are fun, too.

Taken from peoples. zomg. I wanted to do it, too, but forgot to do it until now. Wee.

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies/tv shows.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie/tv shows.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie/tv shows.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search or other search functions.

In which Angie needs to stop listening to Radio Blog...

...or not. But really, there's just so many shiny musics that I find on there, it's nuts. XD

And last episode of season 1 aired for Torchwood. You know, this show is odd for me. I mean, there are times where it's cool, but then there are times where I laugh at the cheesy. Kinda the same with Doctor Who, but I think it's because I haven't watched much of it so I tune into random episodes and haven't the clue what's going on so... guess that doesn't count then, haha. All in all, Torchwood is interesting enough to watch, but I'm not too bummed about waiting a month for the next season.

Now Stargate Atlantis is another thing, fufufufu. Though, to be honest, I am getting a bit disappointed with some developments. Especially one concerning Teyla, if that goes the way I'm fearing it'll go, I don't know what I'll do. Maybe angst and watch the first two seasons. The third season was good, but the first two were great. /endfangirling.

Entered a drabble for [info]caer_awen. Writing is very frustrating to me, really. I see it all awesome-like in my head, but when I write it, chaos ensues. It's like a flood of blah. Guess I can say the same thing for drawing, but at least I get a better reproduction on paper, haha.

Anywho, weekends go by too fast. Boo on it.

In which Angie wants to topple someone...

Ugh, I already know who the winner of Dancing with the Stars is.

It's a no-brainer, really, considering the empire behind her.

Yup.

Marie Osmond.

Ugh.

Someone help bash my head, like, now. Never mind. /bangs head on various hard objects.

But, the true winner is Mel B. Too bad she'll be out voted by Marie and her Empire. Poor Mel B. She's so much more talent than Marie. Helio, too.

*sigh*

I don't know why I torture myself like this. XD;

Oh well, at least there's Heroes. :D

EDIT: And ... she sucked, wtf, she sucked majorly, wtf, wtf, wtf. If she wins even though I said she would, but hey, pleasant surprises are nice, I'm... I'm... not going to be happy. /fumesmore.

In which Angie feels wary...

I've begun to reread Susan Cooper's book, 'The Dark is Rising', and as I finished the first chapter, I've had this wary feeling whenever I recalled the trailer of the film adaptation. I went back and watched the trailer again and found just what felt... "off".

I have a feeling 'The Dark is Rising' will be a repeat of that horrendous mockery of a film 'Eragon'. Joy. Way to go. Good job Hollywood!

Hollywood 5bil - Greatbooks nil.

But, I suppose it is too early to rant. Had to voice my worry, s'all.

*

Reading list updated... )

*

Saw Torchwood today. It was... interesting... O.o;

It was followed by an ... interesting episode of Eureka.

Both had similar themes...

Yup...
