#499

So according to these random stats on the user page (that I didn't notice until today, har har har), this entry will be my 499th. Now that gets me wondering what shall I post for my 500th? That will poke me all day now. Psh.

Oh... em... gee... as I wrote that last statement I now know.

Not telling what it is~

Shall surprise ye.

Happy Weekend everyone!

Maintenance.

I don't want to clean up my G-mail. I really don't. Everyone and their grandmother's company e-mails me crazy-silly. I can imagine hundreds upon hundreds of e-mails in that. Ugh. Blah. Guh.

Totally need to sift through and unsubscribe from stuffs mebbe... I dunnae.

*

And since I went and got myself a YouTube account (more on that later when I actually post something up... *cough*), I have pulled out all my old CDs full of random crap I saved on them while I was in art school. I think sorting through them will be even more tedious than cleaning my G-mail.

Why am I such a flippin' packrat? Why couldn't I have consolidated the stuff into... few CDs? XD XD XD;;;; /dies.

*

Anywho, Happy Weekend (since I have been failing at my Happy Fridays, haha).

P.S. One and a half more books to go and I shall be able to read Small Favor! Willpower +5! XD

Randomblings.

Watching Heroes is some rollercoaster ride. I go "Ugh" with some episodes and then "Ohh" with others. I just hope this season is the last. Really. What else could possibly come out of this other than what has transpired in the first season?

*

I am trying my best to resist the shiny that is Small Favor. My sister has waited long enough for me to finish reading the Narnia books so... must... finish... that... first. Three more to go. xD;;

Then thanks to [info]vampydirector (danke muches :D) I have acquired the Tweelight books. Um... no comment right now. >.>

*

And as much as I hate working at Shittybank, I shall do over time up the whazzoo for monies is a necessity. Rawr! Fear mah gold diggin'! Okay, not. Ugh, hate this job. It is so boring I can cry. Okay, not quite, but the repetition kills me. The silliness of some of my co-workers make me lose more brain cells because I want to bang my head on various hard objects whenever I am asked the same simple questions over and over and OVER! Seriously, WRITE GORRAM NOTES!!!!!!!!!!! Then there are instances where I wonder how in the world this bank stays afloat with certain dumb ideas and business practices. I dunnae... beyond me. Psh.

/endrant.

Other than that, I am thankful to even have a job anyway. And it pays a decent salary as I am going to get now-a-days so, yeah, as much as I hate it, it is there and it is providing me fundage to, you know, do stuff I do like.

I are optimistic. See? :D :D :D

THE END.

NaNophailed.

So, yeah, uh, I did not write 50K. Did not write 10K either. Big fail on that in regards to my NaNo attempt this year. But, I do not think that I did not gain anything from this.

1. I kinda sorta have a bigger idea on how this particular story will flow.

2. I realized how awful I am at setting the mood of my writing.

3. The fact that I will never, ever see any of my writing published in novel form is solidified and written in stone. (Not that I am too bummed about this one, I know I am not a novelist or anything. I like the more visual way of telling a story, if ya know what I mean. ;3)

4. The Shinies are a terrible force to be reckoned with... *cough*Avatarmarathonofawesomedoom*cough*

5. Work sucks. Oh wait, that does not have anything to do with this... carrying on...

But anywho. The Avatar marathon was awesomeness. I think I saw all the episodes now and it was cool stuffs. And watching it did inspire me with my own story.

Conclusion: Back to the drawing board. I need some more research.

THE END.

Of the year has come... AHHHHH!!! /panics.

Season 5... GO! GO! GO!

lmao... I just made a funny, hahaha.

Spoils of the first episode... yus, thar be spoilers. XD )

All in all. This episode was good. It kinda felt rushed, but that's just me. I guess I can rely on some awesome peeps over at FFN to fill in the gaps. ;3

*

On another note that's related. I have Season 4! EEEE. Not to mention a great reference picture of Sheppy so Kamel can draw him for me! /excitement!!

Yay for more Stargate Atlantis! <3 <3 <3!

Walkers are coolness.

Finished Conrad's Fate today, finally. Yay for fast reading over the weekend and during breaks at work! It was a fun book. ^^

Now onto... The Jester, ugh. Maybe it'll pick up, but still... ugh. Kinda hard to go back to that book after the awesomeness of Conrad's Fate. XD;

*

Almost the end of the month now. I don't think I'll finish my To-Do list again. Perhaps I'll get a better "grade" though? That'd be nice... >.>;

*

I keep thinking today is Monday. I thought yesterday was Sunday and was excited about seeing some Ty (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), but alas, I had missed it because yesterday was... not Sunday, yeah. /tear.

*

Anywho... wow, almost June. Almost half-way through the year. And I'm almost 24. x.x;

SHINIES!

1. I have until December 1, 2008 to figure out how I'll get my hands on a PS3. XD

2. One Manga is an 3vil site and needs to stop distracting me.

3. Allen Walker from D.Gray-Man reminds me of Sora and Edward Elric.

4. Where can I find Violinist of Hameln goodness aside from One Manga? XD;;;;

5. Why is it when I'm trying to figure out one song on Yampi, I go off and find out notes for another song?

6. I forgot my password to Photobucket, haha.

7. Nausea isn't shiny. It needs to go away. >.>

American Idol.

They did something different. They finally, FINALLY, let the singers play instruments. So, we've got musicians and singers. I don't know if it offers an advantage or anything, but it definitely makes some of the performances enhance.

Now I ramble about the Top 12... )

*

So far, this season's pretty good. I like how they allowed instruments and that there's diversity. Cool stuffs.

Epiphanies are fun.

Random one: Life wouldn't be interesting without the idiots.

Sad but true. Though, I like to see that in a positive way, m'yes. Sometimes you wouldn't have that one crazy adventure if an idiot was absent, y'know? Or something.

Of course, the same could be said for friends and loved-ones (the whole "life wouldn't be interesting without them", not that they are idiots).

Tralala, Happy Friday guys!

. . .

Should I be afraid of this live-action adaptation of Akira? Especially when I see where the setting is and it's produced by an actor. Leonardo DiCaprio. He doesn't scream anime enthusiast, but, hey, John Stewart played Wii Sports on the Oscars so who knows.

Personally, I thought they should have waited until the Wachowski brothers were finished with Speed Racer. :P

Anywho. I have figured out some way of doing this silly 100 Themes Challenge that I was supposed to finish last year but didn't. Yeah. It's called drawing. Okay, yeah, that drawing, too, but there's also the... "poke random people to draw a piece of paper from a tin" type of drawing, y'know? xD

Yes. So. Got Kamel to do the first drawing and the first theme shall be...

OLD.

Whoo.

No clue what to do at the moment, let's see how this works out, m'yes?

Finished a book, yay!

Book List Updated, woo )

Finished, The Amber Spyglass. The series was a pretty interesting read. Favourite character (from the series) has to be Iorek, fufufu.

Anywho...

I like Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics. I'm wondering if this dude will mention the movie Stargate, haha. Then again, he's poking at basic physics so... maybe not. Boo.

And...

Random thing that irks Angie:

When people with faster cars (honestly, there are 99.5% of the car population out there faster than my little Yaris, mmm'kay?), go slower than me. It's, like, adding insult to injury there. Dx

ZUM-ZUM-ZUM, fools! /endrandom

A day off, whoo!

Today is a day off. I go to the dentist. I hope that I still have no cavities. That would be great.

Then after that, I am to take my mother and grandmother to some hospital I know not the location but we shall see how well I receive the directions. Yay. I love an adventure.

I do look forward to the new Stargate Atlantis episode. Even though it is some random episode with no, if not very little, relation to the overall plotline. I suppose a break from CLAMP-grade wtrandoms is a must. Good on the writers. Or something.

Yay for choppy sentences. Fear them.

In which Angie is bored...

I have been cleaning out the walk-in closet in my bathroom and it's a chore. I despise cleaning. Organizing things is just not my forte. I can't believe how much junk paper I hoarded, jebus. There's enough to save a small forest! Okay, maybe not, but I'm on my third brown bag for recycling plus I have this box that I stick other boxes into so... yeah, that's a lot to recycle. Green peace, whoo!

There's still more, too. Ugh. It never ends. /dies.

Now for random haiku for I am bored:

Cleaning is a chore,
Hoarding leads to disaster
It just never ends.

Yeah, yeah, I break that whole "nature observation" rule, but if we go technical with this, we study the "nature" of an Angie. :D

Okay, that was lame. I'll go find me a game to play now... just a small distraction... tiny one, before I go back to the monotony of cleaning. Tralalala.

In which Angie asks something random...

Should I kick this habit of reading books before seeing their film counterparts? Really. Just six minutes into The Dark is Rising and I feel the dread (the trailers gave me) rising. Like the Dark! lololololol! XD

The visuals are nice. Good editing. Definitely liked the shifty shots from behind the lockers at the beginning, but story-wise. I see disaster. Big, huge, gargantuan disaster.

I stop watching now... and eat, hahahahaha. Plus there's Top Gear and Heroes tonight! BUWAH!

In which Angie is sweating...

Boo on the messed up A/C.

Hope it is fixed tomorrow.

Had to go the weekend with no A/C. Hot summer weather. Tis lovely. Good thing I'm used to this stuff. And yay for lots of fans! Fans are friends! Love the fans! XD

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

In which Angie rented lots of moviis...

Six movies. Three day weekend. Rawr.

The Guardian.
Happily Never After.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Hot Fuzz.
Open Season.
The Prestige.

And now I bang my head on the desk because I've just remembered that I wanted to see Children of Men. Boo. Oh well, guess I'll just read the book first, hehe.

THE END.

Monday, August 27th, 2007

In which Angie finds some new shinies...

I started to read Spiral yesterday...

...I caught up...

So, yeah, I've finished Chapter 48...

...and it ended on an 3vil cliffhanger.

Boo...

...off to work I go now.

Boooooooooooooo...

...random pondering shall commence after work.

Good day.

In which Angie writes an LJ of random stuff...

Tsubasa is driving me NUTS! Jebus. It's like following a slow-ass driver on the road without the option of passing the idiot! I'm stuck behind the 3vil slowness of doom! It teases me! Dx

I now know that reading books like Pendragon is a weekend only thing. Get the book, sit around for the day, and finish it before the new work-week comes along. Something about that series makes it so addictive. It amuses me how crappy the editing is, though, haha. I've spotted several typos. NG yos. I'll probably finish this book tomorrow. Whoots.

Love-love-loving the new season of Eureka~ Ahh, Sheriff Carter is <3 <3 <3

This Tohko album I ordered months ago finally came in the mail, haha. Was getting tired of all the e-mails saying, "Oops! Your order has be delayed somehow! *oh teh noes!*" Ahh, Tohko. She sounds better live though. Boo. Oh well. Songs are still pretty, muwahahaha. Shall post songs up this weekend perhaps. :3

And poor, poor S.O.B. (my MacBook Pro of loveliness) was feeling lonely this week. I didn't boot him up all week, but today I did. Fear it! Couldn't put him on the Net of Inter though. Booness.
