Head hurts, ow.

I am not sure that my head hurting has anything to do with what has transpired in Turn Coat. Yes, I have finished reading that book (duh, it's a Dresden Files book. xD). It was awesome.

Shan't say any more for fear that I will spoil.

My head hurts though. For reals. Aleve is my friend now.

Hmmm.

Tell me I am not silly-obsessive when I go to Amazon.com on a daily basis to read and reread the little review snippets for Turn Coat. It's. So. Shiny. I am tempted to go to website and read whatever is available there, but... nuuuu. It'll make it worse. I know it. Dx

Uh... Hoppy Friday. /lamepunlawl

Dresden. Duh.

Finished Small Favors. Took longer than the others because, well, I don't have other books to read after that until April 7th... but wait, I lie, I have a pile of books to read plus the books Kamel can throw my way. Whoo!

Spoilers Under, whoas. )

And there was no excerpt for the next book which made me go, "Wha-wha... nuuuu. ;-;" Then, I went and read a summary of the book and went, "Totally knew it would involve Harry helping him!!! XD"

I can find an excerpt online, but do I really want to tease myself with it? >.>;;;

Anywho. T'was a fun read, had plenty of laughs along the way, and Harry is still awesome.

Books, books, books.

At the recommendation from [info]omgitsquasi, I have purchased House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. Then at my own curiosity, I also purchased Feed by M.T. Anderson. They shall now join the pile of hopeful books vying for my attention. I might get to them eventually... maybe... Dresden calls the shots now. Kidding, kidding.

Currently, I am reading Phantom by Susan Kay. So far, it is interesting and if it weren't for me going here and there, I probably would have finished it by now. Oh well. There's this weekend, haha.

I am resisting the urge to read the excerpt of Small Favor... I really am... but it is a hard urge to fight. I likes Dresden. And today, I saw that the Barn of Nobles we went to had restocked on the Dresden books (because they barely had any on my search for books 6-9 and which had me driving across the city, okay, maybe not, but driving to the other Barn of Nobles to sate my fangirly needs). Seeing all those books made me squee.

Poor Kamel cannot find her Brent Weeks books. Not too sure what exactly they are about but we randomly found the third book in the series and it had a guy on the cover that reminded us of Altair from Assassin's Creed... which prompted Kamel's need to look for the other books in the series. I think it is about an assassin... huh... guess they all wear hoods.

More Dresden.

Yes, I spam my journal of Dresden. Yes, I could talk about other "more important" stuff, but I am pretty sure that you folk are familiar with my enthusiasm of discussing the "important" stuff. So, Dresden talk it is. Fear it.

I am not really sure how many of you folk have read the Dresden Files books, but if there are any who have yet to dive into this wonderful sea of awesome, then I recommend picking up the books. Starts with Storm Front. And that is my attempt to poke people into reading about Dresden so they can squee with me about how awesome he is.

So, yeah, finished White Night. It has been a while since I laughed so hard. Sure, Harry and his neverending snark is humlarious no matter what, but him pretending to be a gay lover was precious. The book also had a few teases that made me go, "Ohhhh" and whatnot. T'was fun stuffs.

Now I have to wait about two months for the next book. Sadsauce.

Sister person poked me with Phantom by Susan Kay so that ought to keep me occupied for ... a day or so. Kamel seems confident that it will read as fast as a Dresden book, hmmz hmmz.

Wee-haw.

Doot Dee Doo, Dresden.

This is about Dresden. For I am reading the ninth book of Dresden Files.

Yes, I am still smitten with him.

Him and his silliness.

Yes, this journal has little point. It is merely to give myself a break before I go back to laughing my ass off at Harry's over-acting.

He amuses me lots.

Books shall replace T.V.

I hearts the Dresden Files and have read eight books in a month or so, which is, like, nigh impossible for Angie to do in any other given space of time.

These books are so addictive. They're like the Harry Potter books except written in first person, with an older Harry (lolol), and more shiny books in the series. Though, I am catching up so that means I will have to do the waiting thing soon. Blah.

But, break time. Tackling Inkheart so I can take the sibs to see the movie when it comes out on the 23rd. It is a bit slow, but not in a particularly bad way. I am just used to the shit hitting the fan from the first chapter on in the last few books I have read, haha.

Ugh, I don't know what to do without SGA on Fridays now. Blah.

Yay books. Wee.

The End.

Oh, and anyone who makes listening to pop songs tolerable is awesome, haha.

The End. For reals.

Ehehehe.

Uhhh... well, I started reading the third book of Dresden Files yesterday ... and finished it this morning. Oops. XD;

I think I have a new character to fangirl over, muhahahaha. Dresden is love. Bob, too. And Michael, zomg, the banter that goes on between him and Dresden! Bob, too. Bob and Dresden banter is greatness. XD

Sadness in this book was lackage of Dresden and Murphy banter. Awww.

I have two more (yay Christmas pressie from awesomesauce sister of doom. :D!!!) and I highly doubt they'll last because they look very shiny right now.

Um... that's it. For now. BOHAHAHAHA.

THE END.
